I just listened to another Danielle Smith speech and was once again very impressed by her eloquence, the content of her speech, and her obvious leadership skills. I don’t understand why Warren Kinsella has insulted her in more than one column, calling her incompetent and actually claiming she’s not too bright. At the same time, he’s not embarrassed to say he worked for Kamala Harris and Joe Biden on both of their election campaigns – based on that, he should know what dumb and incompetent looks like and it’s certainly not Danielle Smith.

Re Steve Nease cartoon June 10: Portrayed are the three leaders of North America sitting at a table, presumably at a restaurant, with Donald Trump in the middle sleeping. The funny thing is that Mexico has been at the table with Trump for a year now. While Mark Carney, who left his seat at that table, has been wandering through the restaurant looking for scraps from other tables. Meanwhile, there is a buffet in front of him.

HOW TO END SEPARATION
Pierre Marcel Poilievre competes in federal politics, and thus has to be cautious of how much political clout he invests in any singled out province. However, Poilievre is sympathetic with the struggles of patriotic Albertans. I’ll have you know that if Poilievre and his Conservative Party would become the government of Canada, there would be no separation movement in Alberta, as there would not be any need for one.
