Before Carney creates the government version of a GoFundMe deal to pay for the renovations of the official residence of the prime minister, he should cancel the outrageous bailout for the B.C. condo developers, who know the market risks and should be responsible for off-loading their surplus inventory. Carney should not be asking more from Canadian taxpayers when most are already tapped out.

GOOD MEDICINE

Recently I spent ten weeks in both the Oshawa and Whitby hospitals and then with Bayshore rehab after dislocating my foot and fracturing my ankle. During this period I gained a very strong respect for all the nurses, personal support workers, kitchen and cleaning staff who took wonderful care of me. Theirs is a very stressful occupation with so many variables including feeding, bathing, tending to bodily functions, dealing with grumpy patients, foul language, mental issues, etc, all the while remaining supportive. Thank you for all you do and thank you for your service.
