Kevin O’Leary is a Canadian-Irish businessman who appeared as one of the venture capitalists on the Canadian show Dragon‘s Den. The show would later be adapted by American media and the world would know it as Shark Tank.
However, Kevin O’Leary has got fame and money on his side. The businessman couldn’t help but gush over SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and how the government needs more people like him!
Kevin O’Leary Is In Awe of Elon Musk
Elon Musk is a billionaire celebrity who has often found himself in the spotlight with his talks and opinions on various things. Musk is the CEO of Tesla Motors and X (formerly Twitter).
Musk is also a philanthropist and his research on the amalgamation of humans and AI is quite commendable. The billionaire has found fame with his research on Neuralink and Kevin O’Leary is in awe of that.
In an interview with Fox News (via Money Control), O’Leary talked about how Musk is the Bruce Wayne of this world. The businessman also talked about his opinion of the Tesla CEO.
[He is a] modern-day Bruce Wayne. [It] would be a good thing for everybody in America [if Musk were to join politics. The guy’s a no BS guy. He’s very transparent, and he really knows what he’s doing.
Kevin O’Leary further continued,
Look at what he’s accomplished. If we could get more Elon Musks in the government, this country would not be in the situation it’s in, divided so much.
Well, Elon Musk has officially endorsed the presidential candidate Donald Trump. However, the CEO had clarified that there were no discussions for him in a government role.
On the other hand, Elon Musk is the sworn enemy of Shark Tank judge Mark Cuban who recently wished for something iconic. Cuban took a shot at Elon Musk and the latter was not happy about it.
Elon Musk And Mark Cuban Are Sworn Enemies
Not exactly enemies but the two do not seem to be getting along. This comes after the fact that Mark Cuban just wished that he wanted to buy X from Elon Musk!
In a recent interview with Wired, Cuban, 66, talked about how he would like to purchase Fox News and X. For two very different reasons, Cuban stated that he would buy them in a heartbeat.
If I had enough money to do it, which I don’t, I’d buy it in a heartbeat. He [Elon Musk] wouldn’t sell it. There’s no reason for him to sell it.
Well, it remains up to fate whether Elon Musk suddenly decides to sell off X or not. Until then, Mark Cuban has his eyes on Fox News and his pharmaceutical start-up.
Elon Musk currently has the spotlight on himself after the billionaire supported Donald Trump and endorsed him in the campaign. Only time can tell whether it was a good idea or not.
