Kane pushing to play every England game during busy Nations League run

Harry Kane is eager to play every game during England’s busy international window. Thomas Tuchel says the Bayern Munich striker is “desperate to start all four” matches.

Harry Kane could feature in all four of England’s Nations League matches during the current international window, with Thomas Tuchel revealing that his captain is eager to play every game.

England face four matches in just 11 days, creating a significant workload for the squad. Kane is nevertheless keen to remain on the pitch throughout the demanding run.

"Harry is desperate to start all four and there is a chance he will," Tuchel said.

The England boss also admitted that his preference would be to keep changes to a minimum and maintain continuity within the team.

"I would love not to rotate, to be honest. I'm not sure if it's possible," Tuchel explained. "My ideal scenario would be to go again and go again and go again, with six or seven players minimum from that start again that we trust."

Tuchel wants his regular starters to feel the responsibility and confidence of being trusted, but acknowledged that England's packed schedule will have to be taken into account.

"To put the responsibility on them and let them feel the trust. But I am not sure it's possible. Let's see," he added.

Kane scored in England's 3-2 defeat to Spain in their Nations League opener before missing a second-half penalty. If he plays all four matches during the international window, he will equal Peter Shilton's record of 125 England appearances.
