Studio MAPPA will reveal new information about the Jujutsu Kaisen anime on June 19, as confirmed by the official X handle of Jujutsu Kaisen anime (@animejujutsu). The announcement will take place during MAPPA’s 15th Anniversary Event. We can expect new information regarding the conclusion of the Culling Game Arc.

The event is likely going to give us information on the release window, and it may even release a key visual. Let’s dive into everything that we know regarding the online event and what we can actually expect in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4.
MAPPA’s Jujutsu Talk Special Edition: Everything That We Know
Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen | Credit: MAPPAMAPPA is calling the event Jujutsu Talk Special Edition, and it will focus mostly on the updates regarding the anime itself. Voice actors Junya Enoki, who voices Yuji Itadori in the anime, and Megumi Ogata, who voices Yuta Okkotsu, will appear as special guests in the event. Their involvement makes sense as their characters are both the protagonists of the anime.
The event itself will be divided into two parts. According to the official tweet, the information regarding Season 4 of the anime Jujutsu Kaisen will be available in the first part. Furthermore, part one will be broadcast on the official YouTube channel of MAPPA studios on June 19th at 8:00 PM JST. The second part will be streamed on the TOHO animation YouTube channel instead.

Season 4 will focus on the second half of the Culling Game arc. Previously, we saw that Higuruma finally gave Itadori Yuji his 100 points, and he added a new rule, using a pre-existing rule of the Culling Game, which would allow Megumi to save his sister. Furthermore, after battling Reggie Star, Megumi spared Remi’s life. However, he himself collapsed at the end, and the Angel, one of the strongest female sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen, appeared before him. Furthermore, Kenjaku appeared to be in a meeting.
Reggie mentioned in Season 3 that when the conditions are right, Kenjaku would probably drop a bomb on the game, and everything will change. Furthermore, since it appears that Angel doesn’t have any bad intent, she may save Megumi instead. She is who Yuji, Megumi, and everyone else need, as her curse technique allows her to nullify other cursed techniques.
We will probably see Gojo being unsealed near the end of the season, right after Sukuna makes his move regarding Megumi as well, since Season 3 was building up to that plotline. Furthermore, as the season is still being adapted by MAPPA, we can expect the same level of animation quality.
However, considering how Gojo’s revival must be near, Season 4 will perhaps also be limited to a standard 12-episode run. It is possible that the episode count will also be revealed in the MAPPA’s Jujutsu Talk Special Edition broadcast.
