Valve’s latest game, Deadlock, has become one of the most talked-about titles lately, with fans divided over whether they like it or not. This division is largely due to the bias created by the dominant works in the gaming industry. However, the upcoming addition breaks the mold by combining the hero shooter and MOBA genres.

However, it seems that a large fanbase is willing to give third-person MOBA hero shooter, currently in Early Access, a chance. Even famous streamers like Shroud are showing their support for the game, expressing that they like it. In contrast, some streamers, like Summit1G, don’t share the same opinion.

Twitch Streamer Revealed That He Doesn’t Like Deadlock and Plays It Under Certain Conditions

Deadlock has been one of the most talked-about games across social media lately, naturally catching the attention of major streamers. Shroud was one of the first streamers to give the game a chance, expressing that he loved it and believed it had the potential to be a big hit.

The popular Twitch streamer Summit1G doesn’t share the same enthusiasm. In a recent stream, he shared his thoughts on the upcoming game, stating that he doesn’t like it at all and only plays it to play with Shroud. He even went so far as to say that it’s worse than Overwatch.

The most important detail here is that the streamer really hates Overwatch. For those who don’t know, he has previously criticized Blizzard’s FPS with harsh words, stating that it’s the only FPS game he refuses to play. So if he thinks Deadlock is even worse than Overwatch, it seems the game is already over for him before it even officially launches.

The streamer’s statement that he didn’t like the game angered many fans who were eagerly awaiting its release. Many people claimed that he was simply not skilled at video games, and that it was normal for him to dislike highly demanding titles.

Some people reminded those who criticized the streamer that he is a former professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player, arguing that their reactions were unfounded and that his comments were just his personal opinion.

The Game Broke Records Even in Early Access

The most notable positive aspect of MOBA shooter is its success during the Early Access period. Despite being tested with a limited number of players, the game quickly set its own record with 92,000 concurrent players.

At the time of this writing, it has around 30,000 active players. Although the game has not yet been fully released, it has already surpassed many major titles, including Helldivers 2, in terms of player count.

This suggests that it could become a significant competitor to industry-dominating games like Dota 2 and Valorant once it officially launches.
