Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter is typically known in the anime and manga community for its long breaks and faltering pace. The presence of Neferpitou emphasizes the idea that beings other than humans exist in Togashi-Sensei’s immersive world featuring the Dark Continent. Pitou is a Cat Folk, showcasing strong cat-like characteristics due to Chimera Ants having the traits of the species they devour.

Hence, the theory of Killua being a cat-human hybrid gains more reinforcement when seen with the parallel of Killua’s characteristics being closely similar to Neferpitou.
