How to Get All Red Bricks in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight? Locations Explained

Red Bricks in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight are less game‑breaking cheats and more ultimate drip unlocks. If you care about style as much as you do about stopping crime, grabbing all 23 Red Bricks is basically mandatory.

Getting them all takes a mix of sharp eyes and patience. Fourteen Red Bricks are hidden inside story missions and are easiest to grab in Free Play. While the remaining nine are bought from Bat‑Mite’s shop in the Batcave.

1. Ninja – Infiltration

In the mission Infiltration, play until you reach the snowy temple area with a ledge lined in gold studs. Follow that ledge, then drop down onto the snow below.

Then crawl through the small opening in the wall to a hidden room with four pressure plates. Place two piles of books on two of the plates, then work with your co-op partner to press the remaining two simultaneously. Once all four are pressed, the statues open and reveal the Ninja Red Brick.

2. Nautical – New Beginnings (Docks)

During the ‘Build something to reach Flass’ section, find the building to your left next to a hanging yellow container. The front door is locked, but the roof window is open, grapple up and in to collect the Nautical Red Brick. No puzzles to solve, you’ll find the Nautical Red Brick sitting inside.

3. Filthy Rich – Carmine Falcone (Iceberg Lounge)

During the Iceberg Lounge section of Carmine Falcone, reach the VIP area with the vault door. Interact with the keypad and enter the code “596” to open the vault.

That’s it! Inside is the Filthy Rich Red Brick, fittingly sitting among Falcone’s hoarded goods.

4. Toxic Waste – The Red Hood Gang (Ace Chemicals)

Move through Ace Chemicals in the Red Hood Gang mission. You’ll reach a vent room above a corridor full of thugs. Get inside this room.

Inside this side room, use Gordon’s foam gun (or equivalent gadget) to seal all the leaking pipes. Once every leak is plugged, the system vents out the Toxic Waste Red Brick.

5. Feline – Mimes (Shreck’s Department Store)

Outside Shreck’s Department Store in the Mimes mission. You need to look to the right of the big store sign for a minigame marker.

Interact to start a board puzzle. Here, you have to guide a green cat icon to a red target dot. Complete the route without messing up, and the Feline Red Brick is yours!

6. Gothic – The Penguin (Arctic World)

Get to the Arctic World section of The Penguin mission. Here you’ll encounter a puzzle room tied to the penguin exhibit. You need to use detective vision to highlight interactive objects.

Using your detective vision, solve the sequence of switches and umbrella‑style mechanisms. When the puzzle completes, a cage opens, revealing the Gothic Red Brick inside.

7. Artist – Flugelheim

While exploring the Flugelheim Museum, look for a vent that only cat characters can enter. You will now need a feline ally to get to this Red Brick.

Send a cat through the vent to access a hidden side area. Follow the route through this secret room, and you’ll find the Artist Red Brick waiting at the end.

8. Showbiz – Joker

Get to the parade sequence in the mission Joker. Get to the part when you’re near the second and third floats. Here, just look for a grapple point that lets you climb into a small apartment overlooking the street.

Inside, slide the TV into position, then have a cat character enter the nearby vent. The next room contains the Showbiz Red Brick.

9. Clown – Two‑Face (Haly’s Circus)

In Haly’s Circus during the Two‑Face mission, locate the Test Your Strength carnival machine. Jump on the machine pad to start it.

Hit all three moving targets with a batarang or a birdarang. Land all three hits, and the Clown Red Brick pops out of the machine as your prize.

10. Power Plant – Kite Man

During the ‘Destroy the giant plant’s pods’ section, Robin uses his staff to open a side room. Use Robin’s cable gun to attach the battery to the floating battery compartment on the wall. Close the hatch to seal the Red Brick inside, have Batman climb onto the air streams, then open the hatch so Batman can grab the Power Plant Red Brick.

11. Flower Power – Poison Ivy (Botanical Garden)

In the mission Poison Ivy, you need to get to the Botanical Garden. Here you’ll find a Red Brick encased in glass to the left of a set of double doors with a grapple point.

Place the green plant on the green‑marked pad and the red plant on the red‑marked pad. Once both are correctly placed, the glass opens, and you can grab the Flower Power Red Brick.

12. Fire Breather – Firefly

In the mission Firefly, do not enter the space exhibit. Just look right to find four projectors aimed at a central sphere.

Each valve beneath a projector changes its planet. Turn all four to show Mars. When every projector matches, the sphere opens and releases the Fire Breather Red Brick.

13. Ice Age – Mr. Freeze

In the observatory arena of the Mr. Freeze mission, Nightwing joins while Batman is frozen. Circle the outer ring to find three switchboards. Keep in mind that one of the switchboards is hidden behind a grate.

Use Batgirl to hack the panel above and release the last switchboard. Then, as Nightwing, you have to throw a birdarang to hit all three in quick succession. This opens the glass case containing the Ice Age Red Brick.

14. Bats – The League of Shadows Returns

Exit the subway in The League of Shadows Returns mission. Then walk toward the parked Bane tumblers instead of immediately climbing the ladder.

Use a staff weapon to power the nearby garbage truck. After that, hit the terminal with a hackarang to drive it forward. Stay behind it as moving cover to safely reach and pick up the Bats Red Brick.

Keep in mind, this is the last Red Brick to be found in specific story missions. The next nine Red Bricks are bought from Bat‑Mite’s shops in Gotham and the Batcave.

15. Construction

The Construction Red Brick gives characters a high‑visibility, work‑site‑style color theme. It appears randomly in Bat‑Mite’s shops and costs 15,000 studs when available.

16. Sporty

Sporty is a lighter, athletic‑inspired palette that also rotates through Bat‑Mite’s inventory. When you see it, you can buy it for 20,000 studs.

17. Festive

Festive adds a holiday‑style flair to your costumes. It shows up at random in Bat‑Mite’s stalls and is priced at 25,000 studs, making it a mid‑tier cosmetic purchase.

18. Beauty

Beauty is one of the premium cosmetics, offering a more polished, glam look. It appears in the same random shop rotation and costs 50,000 studs, so it’s one you’ll want to plan for.

19. Glitch

Glitch gives your characters a more digital, distorted aesthetic. It can appear in any Bat‑Mite shop and sells for 25,000 studs.

20. GCPD

The GCPD Red Brick applies a more official, law‑enforcement‑themed palette. It rotates randomly into Bat‑Mite’s inventory and costs 30,000 studs whenever it shows up.

21. Groovy

Groovy brings a playful, retro‑inspired color scheme. Like the others, it appears randomly in Bat‑Mite’s shops and is priced at 25,000 studs.
