How to Complete a Horizon Rush Event in Forza Horizon 6? ‘What a Rush’ Daily Challenge Guide

There is a daily challenge called “What a Rush!” currently available in Forza Horizon 6‘s Winter Season Festival Playlist, but it can be surprisingly easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. The challenge asks players to complete a Horizon Rush Event, yet not every Wristband activity on the map qualifies. As a result, many players end up finishing the wrong races and wondering why their progress isn’t counting.

If you’re looking to claim the challenge rewards quickly, here’s which events count as Horizon Rush activities and how to complete the objective before it expires.

Which Events Count as Horizon Rush Events in Forza Horizon 6?

Horizon Rush Events are special Wristband challenges that use a star-based scoring system. Unlike Showcase Events, which focus on unique racing scenarios and do not award stars, Horizon Rush activities reward players with up to three stars depending on their completion time.

To identify these events, open the world map and filter it to show Wristband activities. Once you arrive at the event location, you’ll see whether it is classified as a Horizon Rush Event or a Showcase Event. For the “What a Rush” challenge, only Horizon Rush Events will count.

Currently, there are three Horizon Rush Events available in Forza Horizon 6:

1. Pier Pressure: Located in Tokyo City and tied to the Yellow Wristband.
2. Off Piste: Found in the Sotoyama region and unlocked through the Blue Wristband.
3. Launch Control: Available in the Nangan region and associated with the Orange Wristband.

Any one of these events can be used to complete the daily challenge. You only need to finish the event successfully, regardless of your final star rating.

How to Complete the What a Rush Daily Challenge

Fortunately, completing the What a Rush challenge is much easier than it first appears. Players are not required to earn a three-star score or set a record time. Simply enter one of the three Horizon Rush Events and finish it from start to finish.

After crossing the finish line, the challenge should automatically register in the Festival Playlist. Once completed, you’ll receive 5,000 Credits along with one Season Point. These points contribute toward unlocking seasonal reward vehicles and other exclusive content available during the Winter Season.

If you don’t have access to any of the Horizon Rush Events yet, you’ll need to continue progressing through the game. Earning Horizon Festival Points unlocks additional Wristbands, which in turn grant access to more story events and activities across the map.

As you advance through the campaign, the required Horizon Rush races will eventually become available. In short, the fastest way to complete the What a Rush daily challenge is to enter Pier Pressure, Off Piste, or Launch Control and finish the event. Since star ratings are not required, simply completing the race is enough.
