Gigi Hadid imitates Taylor Swift at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and reveals romantic reason why her and Travis Kelce did not attend

Gigi Hadid revealed before last night's show that she was planning to reference her beloved friend, Taylor Swift. She delivered on that promise, paying tribute to the pop artist at the very beginning of the event.

She imitated Swift's famous "OH HI" entrance from her concerts and also rose from beneath the runway in a manner similar to how Taylor opens her Eras Tour. Dressed in silky pink lingerie and large angel wings, Gigi struck poses that also seemed to nod to her friend before descending beneath the stage once again.

Her words prior to the runway

Before the show, she shared these words that excited the crowd: "There's something on the runway tonight that's new, at least for me. I can't remember if it's ever been done on the VS runway. There's an aspect that Taylor trained me for on her tour. In one of her rehearsals, she was like, 'I'm going to show you how we do this,' and now I'm doing it tonight."

After this statement, fans speculated that Taylor might attend the show with her partner, NFL star Travis Kelce, but Gigi clarified why they couldn't make it in the end: "I think if they have one more night before he goes back (to training with the KCC), they'll probably be cozy on the couch. That's just my guess," she told 'Entertainment Tonight'.

Travis Kelce is expected to return to practice later this week ahead of the game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, October 20.

Gigi also explained why her current partner, movie star Bradley Cooper, was absent: "He's on dad duty. He'll be supporting me from home tonight," she said.

Grateful for her friends, Gigi felt their support, whether they could attend the show or not.
