Forza Horizon 6 brings back the Wristband system as the main progression path for the Horizon Festival campaign. Instead of throwing every event and car category at players immediately, progression is directly tied to Festival Points, race completions, and major Wristband Events.
Wristbands are only one part of the broader progression system alongside Discover Japan and Horizon Play, but they are still the primary route toward unlocking tougher Festival races, faster car classes, and eventually Legend Island itself.
On that note, here is everything you need to know about how Wristbands work in Forza Horizon 6, including every tier requirement and reward that is yours for the taking.

Players begin Forza Horizon 6 by completing the Horizon Qualifiers and Horizon Invitational before earning their first Festival Wristband. From there, progression comes from participating in official Horizon Festival activities like Road Racing, Dirt Racing, Cross Country, PR Stunts, Showcase Events, Bonus Boards, and Horizon Rush challenges.
Each Wristband tier unlocks tougher event categories and higher-performance race restrictions. Playground Games has also intentionally tied faster car classes and late-game events to higher Wristband progression (via forza.net).
There are seven Wristbands in total:
| Yellow | Rookie | 220 pts | 220 pts | 100 pts |
| Green | Enthusiast | 480 pts | 700 pts | 110 pts |
| Blue | Intermediate | 600 pts | 1,300 pts | 120 pts |
| Pink | Advanced | 1,050 pts | 2,350 pts | 150 pts |
| Orange | Expert | 1,600 pts | 3,950 pts | 180 pts |
| Purple | Elite | 2,300 pts | 6,250 pts | 210 pts |
| Gold | Horizon Legend | 3,590 pts | 9,840 pts | 250 pts |
The final Gold Wristband unlocks access to Legend Island alongside late-game events like The Colossus.
Every Wristband Reward in Forza Horizon 6
Festival progression also pays surprisingly well. | Credits: Playground Games/FandomWireEach Wristband tier also comes with vehicle rewards tied directly to your progression in the Horizon Festival. These are the cars you specifically race with during the Wristband Events required to advance to the next Festival tier, and once you’ve completed said event, the reward vehicle is permanently added to your garage:
| Yellow (Rookie) | Toyota GR86, Lancer Evo VI, RAM 1500 TRX |
| Green (Enthusiast) | 1985 Ford RS200 Evolution |
| Blue (Intermediate) | 2022 Acura NSX Type S |
| Pink (Advanced) | 2007 Peugeot 207 Super 2000 |
| Orange (Expert) | 2023 Porsche 911 Rallye |
| Purple (Elite) | 2018 Subaru WRX STI ARX Supercar |
| Gold (Horizon Legend) | Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimate |
The earlier rewards focus more on versatile cars that can handle road, dirt, and mixed-surface races while you are still building out your garage. Cars like the GR86 and Evo VI stay useful across multiple event types instead of being locked into one discipline.
Later Wristband rewards become much more specialized. The Porsche 911 Rallye, WRX STI ARX Supercar, and Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimate all arrive much deeper into Festival progression alongside tougher race categories and higher-performance events.
Additional rewards are tied to Horizon Festival milestones through the Collection Journal as well. Reaching 2,250 Horizon Festival Points earns five Super Wheelspins, and if that’s what you’re after, our dedicated Forza Horizon 6 Super Wheelspins farming guide already breaks down the fastest method!
