It’s a brand new week, which means a set of fresh challenges waiting for you racers in the Forza Horizon 6 Festival Playlist. The Summer season is packed with activities, and one of them is the Photo Challenge dubbed #TheJoyofDrifiting. The goal here is quite simple: take a picture of any 1980s car while drifting. Sounds easy, right? However, if you’re new to the challenge, figuring out which car the challenge demands you to use, or where to perform drifts, can prove to be a bit confusing. Here’s How to Complete The Joy of Drifting Photo Challenge in Forza Horizon 6

As we’ve mentioned before, you’ll first need to get behind the wheel of a car from the 1980s to complete The Joy of Drifting Photo Challenge in Forza Horizon 6. So, launch the game, head to the Autoshow, and purchase any of the vehicles we’ve listed below in the table –

After getting your hands on any of the 1980s vehicles, open the map and make your way to Kaone Nanamagari Road, Mount Haruna, or Bandai Azuma. These are some of the best drift spots in Forza Horizion 6 and make completing the challenge much easier.

Once you’ve arrived, start building up a drift. If you’re having trouble maintaining one, be sure to check out our dedicated guide on how to drift in Forza Horizon 6. Once your car is sliding through a drift, press Up on the D-pad, if you’re using a controller, or P on your keyboard to fire up Photo Mode. Take a picture, and the challenge will be completed. You’ll be rewarded with 2 Festival Playlist points and the “Just a Happy Little Accident” Forza Link reward for your efforts.

Ever since its launch, Forza Horizon 6 has continued to dominate headlines, breaking records and attracting players in huge numbers. If you thought the hype around the game couldn’t get any bigger, Playground Games has rolled out Series 2: Horizon Decades, which brings tons of new content into the game.

So, what’s special about this one? Well, it brings 10 cars as rewards in the Festival Playlist, including the likes of  1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau, 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430, 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12, 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10, and many other fan favorites spread across the seasonal events. Players who own the Car Pass in Forza Horizon 6 can also look forward to four additional cars joining the roster.

Racers who like to show off their cars also have a new Car Meet location at the Hokubu Time Attack Circuit. The Trial also returns to the playlist as a 6v6 Co-op (PvE) showdown, challenging a team of human players to work together to defeat highly skilled Unbeatable AI Drivatars. The new Series History Reward feature also offers another opportunity to unlock cars exclusive to older Festival playlists. The update also brings a range of bug fixes, gameplay improvements, design changes, and quality-of-life improvements.
