The Supply Llama is a popular aspect of Fortnite. These were first introduced during Season 3, back in 2018. Later on in Chapter 2: Season 7, it was updated to be an animal, but later on, the container version of it was restored in Chapter 4: Season OG.

However, since the last two seasons, players haven’t found this adorable and popular llama-shaped container in any of the maps. Everyone speculated about what could have been the cause of its disappearance, and now it seems that a Marvel supervillain was behind this.

Doctor Doom Might be the Reason Supply Llama is Not in Fortnite Anymore

Supply Llamas are basically colorful, pinata-shaped containers that used to spawn randomly at three places on the island in each match in Fortnite. Players could smash or shoot these containers for some exciting loot. But since the last few seasons, there have been no traces of these cute containers. And the reason might be Dr. Doom.

So that’s why Llamas haven’t been in the past 2 seasons

A dedicated fan has found an interesting detail in the Chapter 5 Season 4 promo art. So this promo is regarding the arrival of Marvel supervillain Dr. Doom in Fortnite through the Absolute Doom Battle Pass, where you can play as him in the game and use some of his super weapons.

Now, in that image, we can see Doom fighting all the other Marvel superheroes like Captain America, Wolverine, Warmachine, Black Panther, and many more. But interestingly, Dr Doom is stepping right over a Supply Llama, thrashing it totally. Initially, it might seem normal, but after the absence of the Supply Llama for two entire seasons, the tyrannical ruler of Latveria appears to be behind the extinction of the supply animals.

What Are the Other Fans Saying?

After this post surfaced on Reddit, many fans voiced their opinions. Some proposed other theories for the extinction of the Llamas; some even went on to claim they witnessed these cute containers in the past two seasons when everyone else didn’t have any trace. On the other hand, someone finally realized they were not the only ones not finding these containers. Here are the fan reactions:

This fan thinks Dali is the main reason for the extinction of Supply Llamas. Actually, this is an Epic outfit that is obtained by becoming a member of the Crew in September 2024. This outfit’s coat is well decorated with llama and is released in Chapter 5 Season 4. That’s why this fan thinks Dali might have killed the Llamas to make her coat.

This fan came across these adorable containers in Reload, which are not connected to the Doctor Doom or the Marvel collaboration. And that doesn’t explain its disappearance from the actual Battle Royale mode.

The disappearance of the Supply Llama from Fortnite for the past two seasons is quite disappointing because not only did it used to give superb loot but also, being a cute and adorable container, it was very close to our hearts.

What do you think? Why are the Supply Llamas removed from the game? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
