Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is one of the largest RPGs in the Final Fantasy series. It has one of the biggest open worlds we’ve seen in recent years, a ton of side activities (too many for many players), great combat, and a lengthy list of collectibles. Of course, Square Enix also gave us an equally lengthy list of achievements and trophies.
The game has 61 trophies/achievements in total, including 54 Bronze, 5 Silver, 1 Gold, and 1 Platinum on PlayStation. Xbox and PC players will also have 61 achievements. You’ll get most of these achievements naturally through the story. But if you want to 100% the game, you’ll have to do every side quest, mini-games, optional bosses, Chadley’s combat simulations, and complete the entire game on Hard Mode.
Before you get put off by it, the good news is that nothing is permanently missable. You’ll unlock Chapter Select after finishing the main story, which will allow you to revisit previous chapters while keeping your progress. That means you can enjoy the story during your first playthrough before cleaning up anything you’ve missed. Here’s everything you need to know.

Best Way to Get All Trophies For 100% Completion
Your experience will depend on what you want. | Image Credit: Square EnixThe achievement and trophy list is certainly lengthy, but there are ways for you to do it to get the Platinum trophy without losing your mind.
— Andrew Goldfarb (@garfep) April 14, 20241. Complete the story while exploring each region
Your first playthrough should focus on progressing through all 14 chapters while completing side content whenever you encounter it. Finish side quests, activate Remnawave Towers, complete World Intel objectives, and collect weapons as you explore.
It’s also worth mastering every newly acquired weapon ability immediately. Doing this throughout the story saves considerable grinding later.
2. Stay on top of mini-games
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth contains significantly more mini-games than Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and many are required for full completion.
Some of the major activities include:
- Queen’s Blood
- Fort Condor
- Cactuar Crush
- Gears and Gambits
- Piano performances
- Chocobo Racing
- Musclehead Colosseum
- 3D Brawler
- Loveless performance
- Gold Saucer attractions
Most can be revisited later through Chapter Select, but learning their mechanics during the story makes the endgame cleanup much easier.
3. Complete every World Intel objective
World Intel is one of the most important systems tied to achievements.
Completing these objectives rewards regional data that unlocks:
- Chadley’s Materia research
- Combat simulations
- Summon upgrades
- Protorelic questlines
- Secret boss content
Eventually, you’ll need every region completed to unlock the toughest endgame challenges.
4. Finish all side quests and Protorelic questlines
There are 36 side quests in total, culminating in the final quest, Can’t Stop Won’t Stop, after the rest have been cleared.
Likewise, collecting every Protorelic eventually unlocks Gilgamesh, one of the game’s hardest optional bosses and a requirement for full completion.
5. Reach Level 70 and complete Chadley’s simulations
By this stage you’ll likely be close to the level cap.
The final Combat Simulations—especially the Brutal and Legendary challenges—are among the hardest content in the game. Many players choose to finish these before beginning Hard Mode because they reward some of the strongest accessories available.
6. Complete Hard Mode
Hard Mode becomes available after finishing the main story once.
Enemy damage increases considerably, MP recovery options become much more limited, and boss encounters require a solid understanding of Synergy mechanics, stagger management, and optimized Materia builds.
7. Use Chapter Select for cleanup
Once you’ve finished Hard Mode, use Chapter Select to revisit any chapters containing trophies you may have missed.
Because quest progress, inventory, and character development carry over, cleaning up remaining achievements is straightforward compared to starting another fresh playthrough.
How Long Does It Take to Unlock Every Trophy in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?
A standard story playthrough of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth generally takes 40 to 60 hours, depending on how much optional content you complete.
If you want to get every trophy or achievement in the game, expect a significantly larger play time. Completing every side quest, doing every mini-game, finishing the game in Hard Mode, and doing the hardest difficulty combat simulations will definitely push your total playtime to 100 hours or more, especially if you’re pursuing the Platinum trophy on PlayStation.
