My client, Leanne, wanted to brighten her colour without having to risk losing the natural silver she has been embracing. To achieve this, I applied babylight highlights throughout her hair using a decolourizer with a built-in controlling pigment in it, resulting in a perfect cool-silver tone. These ultra-fine highlights mimic the natural pattern found in her hair, which adds brightness, dimension, and softness without overpowering her existing grey.

The beauty of this grey blending is that it works with Leanne’s natural colour rather than against it. As her silver continues to grow in, the fine babylights blend effortlessly with her natural tones, creating a softer grow-out, as opposed to a line that a traditional full-colour services would. This means there is no harsh root regrowth or obvious demarcation lines.
