Since Netflix has long been trying to establish a stronghold in the anime market, its continuous addition of both new and old titles suggests there’s more to come. Thus, here’s a list of every anime coming to the platform in May 2026, along with their release dates.

1 One Piece (Episode 823 onwards-)

Release Date: May 1, 2026

Netflix will be adding more One Piece episodes to the platform this May. As of now, there are 822 episodes available on the platform, which cover the first part of the Whole Cake Island arc. And now, Netflix is expected to release at least 12 more episodes from this arc.

Although Netflix does not have all the One Piece seasons, the series’s fanbase on the platform is still huge. So what can you expect from these upcoming episodes? Sanji will get his time to shine, and there will also be a big focus on Big Mom! So, do look forward to it.

2 Detective Conan (Season 3)

7 Akane-Banashi

Yes, it is a shonen with a female protagonist, and the plot revolves around a Japanese storytelling art, Rakugo!

Well, it may not sound as appealing when you are just reading it; however, both the manga and now the anime take this simple plot to a whole new level with thought-provoking character writing and stunning animation. You will be glued to the screen throughout every episode.
