Netflix is set to bring plenty of new anime in June 2026. The majority of them are highly praised sequel seasons from popular franchises. However, two brand-new 2026 movies will also be added to the streaming platform. And, of course, the ongoing seasonal IPs will continue airing episodes weekly.
That said, below, we’ve listed every anime coming to Netflix next month. Will you be interested in catching up on any of them? Check out the entries and see for yourself.
1 My Hero Academia Season 6 & the World Heroes’ Mission Movie

My Hero Academia Season 6 & the World Heroes’ Mission have long been missing on Netflix. However, the two will finally be making their way to the platform on June 1, 2026.
Season 6 features the Paranormal Liberation War arc, delivering high-octane action throughout. Deku and the others facing off against Shigaraki in an all-out war would be a great spectacle to behold. Whereas, in the World Heroes’ Mission movie, Deku will find himself framed for a mass murder!
2 Assassination Classroom (Season 2)

After the release of its first season on May 1, 2026, Assassination Classroom Season 2 is set to be released on Netflix on June 1, 2026. Since this is the anime’s final season, Netflix will essentially hold the rights to stream the entire storyline on its platform. That said, the second season will also raise the stakes. Especially, the ending of Season 2 is expected to leave you in tears.
3 Shangri-La Frontier (Season 2)

Netflix’s release pattern for Shangri-La Frontier couldn’t be more perfect. As Season 3 is scheduled for a January 2027 release, the platform first released Season 1 on May 1, and now, the second season is also set to premiere on June 1, 2026, just one month later. And if you liked Season 1 last month, then you’d likely fall even harder for the series in Season 2. Especially, the introduction to the GGC arc in the second half of Season 2 will likely leave you speechless for all the right reasons.
4 Milky☆Subway: The Galactic Limited Express Movie

The movie is basically a theatrical compilation of Ginga Tokkyuu Milky☆Subway with new scenes added. What is it about? The story follows a space-adventure storyline where superhuman Chiharu and Makina, the cyborg, are tasked with cleaning a space train that travels through the Milky Subway. But it won’t be as easy as it sounds, despite the two being so powerful. Sci-fi fans would likely love this film.
5 One Piece: Whole Cake Island Part 6

Last month, Netflix added up to Part 5 of One Piece: Whole Cake Island Arc. Therefore, in June, the platform will add the next part of the arc, Part 6, which is scheduled to be released on June 1, 2026.
Similar to previous months, we will see another 12 episodes (1 season) of One Piece continuation. Following Part 6, we are quite hopeful that even Part 7 and the final Part 8 will be released later down the line. With that, only the Wano Country Arc will be left to arrive on the platform.
6 Scarlet

Released globally this year, Scarlet has gained considerable critical acclaim from fans. After all, it is directed by none other than Mamoru Hosoda, the man behind Mirai, Belle, and Wolf Children.
Now, the movie is also set to be released on Netflix on June 6, 2026. The storyline is basically a retelling of Hamlet by William Shakespeare, where a warrior princess journeys across the afterlife to seek revenge for her father’s death. You might want to add it to your June watchlist.
7 BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai: Season 1 Part 2

If Baki’s storyline wasn’t already crazy enough, The Invincible Samurai: Season 1 Part 2 will bring the legendary Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi into the mix. Here, Baki and his fellow underground martial artists will have to face Musashi in a deadly battle. The limits of modern strength will be tested in Musashi’s hands. The whole thing will be a thrilling watch from start to finish.
8 Pokémon Horizons: Season 3 – Rising Hope Part 3

The storyline in Pokémon Horizons: Season 3 – Rising Hope Part 3 takes place a year after the events in Laqua. Fans will get to see Liko and Roy return, as the two might try to establish a new leader in the now leaderless region of Laqua. And throughout this journey, new Pokémons will be added to their party, including Shiny Lucario himself. So, for Pokémon anime fans, the hype is real.
9 One Piece: Elbaf Arc (Part 1)

Apart from the Whole Cake Island Arc, One Piece: Elbaf Arc is already being released weekly on Netflix. This has never happened before, as One Piece is now releasing seasonally, with a plan for 26 episodes per year. The first part is currently underway and is set to wrap up on July 4, 2026.
This arc is expected to deliver one of the series’ most climactic sagas, as the Straw Hat Pirates head to the home of the giants, Elbaf, where many secrets surrounding One Piece will finally be revealed.
10 Akane-Banashi (Season 1)

The first season of Akane-banashi is already going strong. With a female protagonist and rakugo tournament arcs, the anime has given the shonen genre a fresh new look. And the same momentum is expected to carry over into June with weekly episode releases.
The 24-episode season is split into two cours, with the first 12 episodes currently releasing on Netflix. The final episode is scheduled to be released on August 2, 2026. Cour 2 might later get released as well.
11 Kill Blue (Season 1)

Finally, we even have Kill Blue airing weekly on Netflix right now. The final episode is set to be released on June 27, 2026, as the anime is already 7 episodes into its 12-episode run.
For those who might not know, Kill Blue is arguably the best assassin comedy anime of the Spring 2026 season. The story follows Juzou Ogami, a legendary hitman who gets transformed into his 13-year-old self after a risky mission. But now, he still has missions to carry out while stuck in this body!
