The Straw Hats have found another way to conquer Netflix, and this time, they have done it with a new One Piece animated special. LEGO ONE PIECE has entered Netflix’s United States Top 10 TV Shows at No. 7 on October 1, 2026, just days after its September 29 release (via FlixPatrol).
The two-part animated special brings back Emily Rudd and the rest of the live-action Straw Hat cast, giving their familiar adventures a colorful new twist. With One Piece Season 3 already confirmed for 2027, the LEGO project also arrives at a fun point between the live-action series’ major chapters.
Emily Rudd’s LEGO Return Puts One Piece on Netflix’s Top 10
Emily Rudd is back as Nami, although this time the navigator is made of LEGO bricks. The actress joins Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero Gibson, Taz Skylar, and Mikaela Hoover, with the live-action Straw Hat cast returning to voice their animated counterparts in LEGO ONE PIECE. The animated special is now streaming on Netflix after its September 29 debut.
And the response on Netflix has been noticeable. LEGO ONE PIECE sits at No. 7 among the platform’s Top 10 TV Shows in the United States on October 1, putting the special ahead of several established titles on the chart.
That placement is particularly interesting because this is not a new chapter in the live-action story. Instead, the special revisits the events of Seasons 1 and 2 in a much sillier format. Usopp narrates the Straw Hats’ adventures to Chopper, naturally giving the story plenty of room for exaggeration and comedy. Netflix describes it as a retelling that moves from the East Blue into the Grand Line.
The returning cast is arguably one of the smartest touches. Emily Rudd’s voice immediately keeps Nami connected to the character fans already know, while the LEGO setting allows the actors to play with a much lighter version of their roles before they jump into a bigger adventure next year.

It gives fans a playful way to stay with the Straw Hats while waiting for their next major live-action journey. Season 3 of Netflix’s One Piece live-action adaptation is confirmed for 2027, and Netflix has officially revealed that the story will move into the Alabasta Saga.
The season will follow Luffy and his crew as they become involved in the conflict surrounding Princess Vivi and her homeland, with Sir Crocodile and Baroque Works emerging as major threats. The new season also brings several important additions to the cast, including Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace, Cole Escola as Bon Clay, Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger, and Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1 (via Netflix).
Emily Rudd will return alongside the rest of the main Straw Hat cast. Production on Season 3 has already wrapped, with new episodes scheduled for 2027.
That makes LEGO ONE PIECE a surprisingly fitting bridge between the two live-action seasons. One project looks back at how the Straw Hat Pirates came together, while the next live-action chapter is preparing to throw them into one of the most important conflicts of their journey. For now, the LEGO version is clearly having its moment on Netflix.
