It is worth noting that the Draconic Tree Sentinel has two phases for the boss fight and players should be familiar with the attack pattern and how to counter these moves effectively. Armed with a massive mace, this boss will try its hardest to hit players, but this attack can be easily evaded by rolling or riding on Torrent.

The boss will use its impressive size to its advantage by lunging onto the Tarnished and can be countered by dodging to either side. Most attacks can be countered by simply rolling away or running, and these are common practices for the most seasoned Soulslike player.

The Draconic Tree Sentinel is susceptible to poison mist like other bosses. Players can apply stealth to sneak behind this boss and cast a few poison mists until it is defeated.
