Sai is a genius at mathematics, and he wants to do nothing in his life but code as much as he can. However, as there are no computers in the current world, he was simply writing machine code on walls.

If any of you readers are in computer science, you know how insanely impressive that is. It is baffling to think that Sai can simply code an entire game in machine code. Senku may be one of the smartest characters of all time, but Sai definitely got him beat in some aspects. So, since you need computers to reach the Moon anyway, Senku has decided that it is time to make a computer. Since a computer is just a complicated calculator with a clock, they’ll probably start with a calculator.

So in the next episode, considering the pace of this anime, Senku could finish the computer itself. Furthermore, it would be an emotional moment for Sai, since he loves computers from the bottom of his heart.
