Dorohedoro Season 2 Episode 5 Brief Recap
Ai Coleman from Dorohedoro Season 2 | Credits: MAPPAThere was a lot to take in from this week’s Dorohedoro episode. The introduction of Kasukabe’s past acquaintance, Ai Coleman, especially took center stage. It raised many questions while answering a few. While we do learn that the wax figure Kasukabe noticed back in his old house was actually Coleman’s, it now raises the question of who he really is.
Coleman was portrayed as someone who hated living in the Hole, so much so that he wished to become a sorcerer. However, longing for such a dream is almost considered blasphemy in Dorohedoro. Initially, it was deemed impossible, but his tragic meeting with Kasukabe changed his life completely.
After undergoing an operation by the doctor, Coleman did receive magic powers, but he then vanished without a trace. The episode then lightened the mood with Ebisu’s segment. Her homecoming seemed to be going smoothly after regaining some of her memories, but even that ended on an unfortunate note when she discovered that both of her parents were missing.
What to Expect in Dorohedoro Season 2 Episode 6?
Nikaido from Dorohedoro Season 2 | Credits: MAPPAThe final stretch of Season 2 Episode 5 raised the anticipation for the next episode to a whole new level. The ending teased that Caiman may never get to meet Nikaido again in the storyline, at least as Nikaido assumes! But why did she think so? That answer is expected to be revealed in Episode 6.
Also, much of the focus will remain on what Kasukabe, Shin, and Noi are up to. It seems they may have a lead on the true identity of the Cross-Eyes, though they are still unaware of it. The figure in question, Ai Coleman, is expected to return in Episode 6, and as more information about him is revealed, we should get closer to solving the mysteries of Dorohedoro.
With the season entering its final half after Episode 5, the series is expected to pick up its pace so it can climb higher in the rankings. Thus, the next episode has a lot to look forward to.
