Spoiler Alert !!!

This article contains spoilers for Agatha All Along.

The first episode of Agatha All Along, much like WandaVision before it, began with an homage to a style of television. Starting out as a procedural drama before shifting into the urban fantasy setting that can be expected from a show like this, the first episode in the series was able to introduce a slew of easter eggs which could lead to some big ramifications for the MCU ahead of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

The first episode of Agatha All Along hinted at the presence of Nicholas Scratch, who is traditionally a villain for the Fantastic Four. Agatha Harkness herself initially made her debut as the governess of Reed Richards and Sue Storms’ eldest child, Franklin Richards. The character was a witch from the beginning, with her son serving as an early antagonist for the Fantastic Four. However, Nicholas Scratch has made some connections to Marvel’s sorcery department, which could have his paths crossed with the likes of Doctor Strange.

In the comics, Nicholas Scratch is a recurring antagonist for the Fantastic Four, allying himself with the likes of Dormammu to wreak havoc on Marvel’s First Family. Audiences last saw the lord of the Dark Dimension in Doctor Strange. His niece, Clea, whisked away Strange towards the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to aid in the preservation of the Dark Dimension, which is Domammu’s domain.

Scratch could bring the character back into the MCU, perhaps in a bid to invade timelines other than the one that Stephen Strange defends. Alternatively, Nicholas Scratch, who is known for his association with questionable beings like Mephistopheles, could have Dormammu invade the Sacred Timeline in the absence of Strange.

The Teen could be Billy Kaplan, or he could be Nicholas Scratch

Joe Locke as The Teen || Agatha All Along

Joe Locke‘s character in Agatha All Along has been widely expected to be Billy Kaplan. This character is an incarnation of Wanda’s own son, who inherits his mother’s abilities of sorcery. An important part of the Young Avengers, Billy would find himself reunited on the team with his twin, Tommy, who would inherit his maternal uncle’s speedster powers.

Joe Locke’s character is referred to as ‘Teen’ in the script, with a hex on him that would prevent him from revealing his name. However, the character could be Nicholas Scratch instead, pulling what his mother did during the events of WandaVision to possibly extract power from his mother, given that the absence of Doctor Strange might have started a race among witches and sorcerers alike to take up the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme.
