Diomandé joins Leipzig training camp as Real Madrid talks enter "final stages"

The Real Madrid-linked wide man has rejoined his teammates in Austria today as Leipzig looks to secure an eye-watering fee for his departure.

Sky Germany can confirm that Yan Diomandé has arrived at RB Leipzig‘s training camp in Austria this morning, Wednesday 5 August.

The fleet-footed winger is fully fit again after recovering from his infection which initially ruled him out of travelling with the squad.

Meanwhile, negotiations with Real Madrid are not in danger over a summer transfer stand no chance of collapsing.

Leipzig and the Galacticos are reportedly in the final stages of completing a deal expected to be worth between €130 and €140million.

The aforementioned sum also includes bonuses, while a final structure is currently being discussed by both parties.

Diomandé has not yet been given the green light to undergo his medical with the La Liga giants, therefore this saga not over yet.

The 19-year-old, who moved to the Bundesliga a year ago for €20million, is now expected to become Real Madrid's record signing.
