Toronto Police have charged a 66-year-old Aurora man in an indecent act investigation.

It’s alleged that on May 27, the accused committed an indecent act at an elementary school in the Jane St.-Finch Ave. W. area and that multiple young students witnessed the incident.
It’s further alleged that on June 10, the accused committed an indecent act at an elementary school in the Hwy. 7-Warden Ave. area.
Paolo Novello has been charged with criminal harassment, indecent act – exposure and incident act.
Police believe there may be more victims and an image of the accused has been released.

2 CHARGED IN TORONTO HOMICIDE
Two men from the GTA have been charged in connection with a Toronto homicide over the weekend.
Cops responded to an unknown trouble call in the Keele St.-Wilson Ave. area on Sunday at 6:01 a.m. after it was reported a group of people were fighting in the area and an adult male was assaulted and struck by a vehicle.

Police said life-saving measures were performed but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
An unknown number of suspects fled in a light-coloured vehicle.
The victim has been identified as Erik Safar, 32, of Toronto,
This is Toronto’s 14th homicide of 2026.
On Tuesday, Milan Andras Babos, 18, of Hamilton, and Richard Olah, 23, of Toronto, were both arrested and charged with second-degree murder after turning themselves into police.

4 CHARGED IN YORK REGION, GTA AUTO THEFT
York Regional Police have charged four people following an May 2026 investigation into a violent auto theft group operating across York Region and the GTA.
Officers identified multiple suspects involved in stealing vehicles in York Region, Toronto and in Peel Region, including incidents involving firearms and violence.
On May 26, police said the suspects unsuccessfully attempted to steal a vehicle in the area of Woodbine Ave. and Shields Court in Markham and with the help from the Air Support and Canine units, investigators were able to find and follow the suspects to an address in the area of Trevine Crescent and Westbrook Ave. in Brampton.

Three suspects were taken into custody, a loaded firearm was recovered and a quantity of controlled substances were seized.
On June 3, a fourth suspect was located and arrested in the area of Hwy. 50 and McEwan Dr. in Caledon.
Throughout the investigation, three stolen vehicles with an approximate combined value of $400,000 were recovered.
Tejvir Singh Dhatt, 21, of Vaughan, faces four firearm-related charges, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one of possession of property obtained by crime.
Soban Malik, 21, of Vaughan, faces four firearm-related charges, two counts each of possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a controlled substance and one of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
A 17-year-old male of no fixed address faces four firearm-related charges, two counts each of possession of property cbtained by crime and possession of a controlled substance and one of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

MISSISSAUGA MAN CHARGED IN VAUGHAN ASSAULT
York Regional Police are thanking the public for their help identifying a suspect after a woman was sprayed with an aerosol irritant in Vaughan.
On May 28 around 7:55 p.m., officers responded to a weapons call in the area of Steeles Ave. W. and New Westminster Dr..
Cops said the female victim was attending a community event when she was approached by an unknown male and after the duo had a brief interaction, a short time later the suspect sprayed the victim with an aerosol irritant before fleeing on foot in the area of Conley St. and New Westminster
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday, Scott Kynnersley, 41, of Mississauga, was charged with four weapon-related offences and one of fail to comply with probation.
