Atlético Madrid place Frankfurt midfielder on their radar

The Swedish youngster could be set for a move to the Spanish outfit Atlético Madrid.

Atlético Madrid are showing interest in signing Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Larsson, based on reports from website AbsolutFußball.com. 

Although the Swede hasn't consistently performed at the highest level, Los Rojiblancos are aware of the 21-year-old's big potential.

A transfer fee of €30million is being discussed for the central midfielder, who remains under contract with the Hessen side until 2029.

Although Larsson's contract is far from dwindling, Frankfurt will have to consider a sale given their struggle to qualify for European competitions.

With three years remaining, the pressure shouldn't be too great yet. However, the La Liga side ways to entice the Swede to Madrid.

Both financially and in terms of his playing career, the twelve-time international could make a significant leap forward in his journey.
