Throughout your journey across the areas of Tenebrous Isle in Mina the Hollower, you’ll wield five main weapons, each with a distinct playstyle. Three are available from the beginning; you’ll have to choose one, but the others can be purchased later. However, the remaining two won’t be available from the start, so with that said, here are all the weapons in Mina the Hollower and how you can find them.

Nightstar is one of the starting weapons in Mina the Hollower. It’s a mace tied to a chain (flail) that delivers mid-range attacks in four directions, with spacing and timing being your utmost priorities while using this weapon. It deals solid damage and is optimal for closing gaps across enemies. You can also use it to take down flying enemies, as long as you’re precise.
2 Whisper and Vesper
Quick daggers to chip off enemy health! | Credits: Yacht Club GamesWhisper and Vesper are the second starting weapons that you can choose in Mina the Hollower. They’re twin daggers that can quickly stab and damage enemies at close range. Their damage might not be the best, but these twin daggers are the fastest weapons out of Mina’s starting arsenal. If aggression is your playstyle, Whisper and Vesper should be your starting weapons.
3 Blaststrike Maul
Slow movement but serious damage! | Credits: Yacht Club GamesBlaststrike Maul is the final starting weapon that you can pick to begin your retro adventure in Mina the Hollower. It’s a hammer that you can charge up and deal devastating damage. While the weapon isn’t as quick as Whisper and Vesper, and sometimes, the slow swing can leave Mina vulnerable to incoming attacks, you can perform a roll while charging by moving in a direction.
From the three above-mentioned starting weapons, you can choose only one, but you’ll be able to get the other two from Legovich the Blacksmith in Ossex City Center. Additionally, you can try out the starting weapons before you take your pick to see which one suits your playstyle.
4 Guardian Casket
Shield to parry and deal bonus damage! | Credits: Yacht Club GamesGuardian Casket is a weapon that you can purchase from Legovich the Blacksmith in Ossex City Center. It’s essentially a shield, so it lacks decent range when it comes to attacking. But it can be used to parry attacks and deal bonus counter-damage, knocking them back. Combine the shield bashes with parrying to use the Guardian Casket efficiently in Mina the Hollower, and don’t limit yourself to only defense with this weapon.
5 Battery Buster
Versatile gun that turns into a bat! | Credits: Yacht Club GamesBattery Buster is the final weapon available for purchase from Legovich’s collection in Ossex City Center. It’s a flexible hybrid weapon that combines ranged damage with aggressive melee output. While in Buster mode, the weapon shoots ricocheting projectiles, consuming energy.
Once you’ve exhausted all energy, the weapon switches to Battery mode and becomes a melee bat, reloading the Buster’s shots with each hit. The Battery Buster in Mina the Hollower is incredibly versatile and offers the perfect balance between ranged and melee combos, as long as you can maintain the rhythm of combat.
There are specific Achievements tied to using certain weapons, so we recommend purchasing all of them. It’s worth noting that your first new weapon purchase from the Blacksmith costs 2,000 Bones, while each subsequent purchase costs 2,500, regardless of which weapon you pick first. However, before you can purchase the other weapons in Legovich’s collection, you’ll need to defeat his brother, Armand.
