The games are live here. New players will get a tutorial round on their first visit rather than the daily puzzle, so you can jump in with everyone else from tomorrow. And if you want more to play through today, FW Gaming has you covered!
Without further ado, here are all the LinkedIn Games solutions for May 9, 2026.
LinkedIn Patches Solution for May 9, 2026 (#53)
The Patches puzzle today. | Image Credit: LinkedIn/FandomWireToday’s Patches board is a satisfying mix of squares and rectangles that slot together more neatly than they might first appear. Here’s the solution:
- Light Blue: Starting at the top-left corner, form a large square using nine smaller squares.
- Light Purple: Directly to the right of the Light Blue square, form a small 2×2 square.
- Teal: Starting from the top-right corner, form a large 4×3 vertical rectangle running down alongside the Light Purple square.
- Bright Green: Directly below the Light Purple square, form a small horizontal rectangle.
- Mustard Yellow: Starting from the left edge below the Light Blue square, form a horizontal rectangle using three squares.
- Red: Directly to the right of the Mustard Yellow rectangle, form a small horizontal rectangle using two squares.
- Orange: Starting below the Mustard Yellow rectangle on the left side, form a square using four smaller squares.
- Brown: To the right of the Orange square, form a long horizontal rectangle stretching toward the right side.
- Purple: Starting from the right edge beside the Brown rectangle, form a vertical rectangle using four squares.
- Hot Pink: Directly below the Brown rectangle, form a long horizontal rectangle.
- Dark Green: Starting from the bottom-left corner, form a long horizontal rectangle stretching across most of the bottom row.
- Dark Teal: Use the remaining bottom-right space to form the final rectangle and the puzzle is complete.
LinkedIn Zip Solution for May 9, 2026 (#418)
The daily Zip puzzle. | Image Credit: LinkedIn/FandomWireToday’s Zip is rated Hard, and the middle section is where it earns that rating. From Point 1, go three squares down and one left to reach Point 2. From Point 2, go three squares up, two left, and one up to reach Point 3. From Point 3, go four squares right, two down, and two right to reach Point 4.
From Point 4, zig-zag upward by going up, left, and up to reach Point 5. From Point 5, go one square right, one up, then straight left across to the top-left corner of the grid, passing Point 6 along the way. From the corner, go three squares down and two right to reach Point 7. The hardest stretch is behind you at this point.
From Point 7, go straight down three squares, then four squares right to reach Point 8. From Point 8, go up, left, and up to reach Point 9. From there, use the remaining squares to connect through to Point 12, and the puzzle is done!

LinkedIn Pinpoint Solution for May 9, 2026 (#739)
The daily Pinpoint. | Image Credit: LinkedIn/FandomWireToday’s Pinpoint may take you a moment. “Corn” could mean just about anything, and “Form” doesn’t do much to help. “Cycle” is where the penny starts to drop, “Verse” makes it fairly obvious in hindsight, and by “Lateral,” it’s impossible to miss.
The answer is: Words that come after “uni”!
LinkedIn Crossclimb Solution for May 9, 2026 (#739)
The Crossclimb puzzle today. | Image Credit: LinkedIn/FandomWireFour letters across the board today, but the Crossclimb still manages to make you work for it. Here’s the solution:
- Items of sports equipment that are usually, but not always, round: BALL
- Ring, especially at a wedding: BAND
- Hairless: BALD
- Displace, as water from a boat: BAIL
- Sticky predicament: BIND
Before the final two words unlock, arrange the five in this order so only one letter changes at each step: BAIL → BALL → BALD → BAND → BIND
The hint for the last two words is: a compound word for someone in prison.
And the final two words are: JAIL and BIRD!
