The Patches today starts to get a little tougher than the ones we’ve had so far this week, but it’s still decently fun and simple.

Here’s the full solution for today’s puzzle:

• Green: Make a horizontal rectangle with eight spaces in Rows 1 and 2.
• Red: Make a vertical line with two spaces in Column 5.
• Purple: Make a vertical rectangle through the entirety of Columns 6 and 7.
• Yellow: Make a horizontal line with three spaces in Row 3.
• Deep Blue: Make a horizontal line with three spaces in Row 4.
• Orange: Make a vertical rectangle with six spaces in Columns 4 and 5.
• Purple 2: Make a square with nine spaces in the bottom left corner of the grid.
• Sky Blue: Make a square with four spaces in the remaining spaces of the grid.

LinkedIn Zip Solution for July 9, 2026 (#479)

The Zip today is a pretty easy one, as long as you can recognize the pattern. First, go right to the edge through point 2, up to the top, left to the edge, down once, right five times through point 3, into point 4, and down once into point 5.

From there, go left to the edge through point 6, down twice, right to the edge through points 7 and 8, down twice, left to the edge, up once, and right five times through point 9, into point 10 to finish the puzzle.

Here’s the solution for today’s LinkedIn Crossclimb:

5. Crave: WANT

Before finding the last two words, you’ll need to arrange the first five in this order: MALL, MALT, WALT, WANT, WAND.

The hint for the last two words is: A compound word for an illegal type of contact at the World Cup that does not involve the foot.

And the last two words are: HAND and BALL.

LinkedIn Pinpoint Solution for July 9, 2026 (#800)

The Pinpoint is a pretty simple one today, and it seems like that’s been the trend so far this week. The first hint today is Spray, and the answer isn’t really obvious from this hint. The second hint is Style, and the answer does become pretty clear from here onwards.

The third hint is Dryer, and I’d say most people will get the answer by this point. The fourth hint is Raising, and this might actually confuse you a little bit. The last hint is Follicle, and the answer is: Words that come after “hair.”
