After ruling the box office around the world last year, Infinity Castle Part 1 recently arrived on the major streaming platform Crunchyroll, putting the movie back in the spotlight as fans wait for the next part.

7 Kaigaku Is Still Far From the Strongest Upper Rank

Kaigaku may have become an Upper Rank demon, but that does not suddenly make him one of the strongest fighters in the Infinity Castle. He takes the vacant Upper Six position after Gyutaro and Daki are defeated, giving him a huge boost in power.

Still, his fight with Zenitsu shows his limits. Kaigaku has strong attacks and combines Thunder Breathing with his Blood Demon Art, but he lacks the experience and control of the Upper Ranks above him. That is why Kaigaku sits at the bottom of this list.

Shinobu may not be one of the strongest Hashira when it comes to physical power, but that has never been the point of her fighting style. She uses speed, quick movements, precise thrusts, and poison to make up for what she lacks in strength.

Her battle against Doma is a perfect example of this. She knows she cannot simply overpower an Upper Rank Two demon, yet she still manages to keep attacking and look for a way to hurt him. That puts her above Kaigaku.

5 Zenitsu Finally Shows How Much He Has Grown

Zenitsu’s fight against Kaigaku feels different from almost every fight he has had before. Instead of panicking and trying to run away, he faces his former senior with a clear purpose.

The biggest surprise is his Seventh Form. Zenitsu created the technique himself, showing how far he has come as a swordsman. He is no longer simply the scared boy who depends on his First Form. His victory over Kaigaku earns him the fifth spot.

4 Tanjiro Pushes Past His Limits Against One of the Strongest Demons

Tanjiro has already come a long way by the time he enters the Infinity Castle. His use of Hinokami Kagura, better sword skills, and growing battle sense allow him to face Akaza without being completely overwhelmed from the start.

What makes Tanjiro impressive here is the way he keeps learning during the fight. He does not simply attack harder when things go wrong. He watches Akaza, tries to understand his movements, and searches for a way to break through his defenses. Finally, he reaches incredible heights and touches the realm where the real strong ones are. 3 Giyu Proves Why He Is One of the Strongest Hashira

Giyu’s fight with Akaza is one of the clearest signs of just how strong the Water Hashira is. He does not need much time to show that he can stand in front of an Upper Rank demon and fight back.

His performance becomes even more impressive when he awakens his Demon Slayer Mark. Giyu still cannot defeat Akaza by himself, but he can keep up with him and work in tandem with Tanjiro. That is enough to place him above Tanjiro in this ranking.

2 Doma Shows the Huge Gap Between Hashira and Upper Moons

Doma is where the power level starts to feel completely different. As Upper Rank Two, he sits near the top of Muzan’s Twelve Kizuki, and his fight with Shinobu makes that position feel deserved.

The scary part is how relaxed Doma remains. Shinobu is incredibly fast and skilled, yet Doma can deal with her attacks while barely losing his calm attitude. His ice-based Blood Demon Art also gives him plenty of ways to control the fight. He ranks above Giyu because the movie shows a much bigger gap between Doma and his opponent.

1 Akaza Gives Tanjiro and Giyu Their Toughest Fight Yet

Akaza takes the top spot because he gets the most impressive combat showing in the first movie. As Upper Rank Three, he is already one of Muzan’s strongest demons, but his fight with Tanjiro and Giyu shows just how dangerous he really is.

Akaza has speed, strength, regeneration, martial arts skill, and an incredible ability to read his opponents’ movements. Even with two extremely strong Demon Slayers attacking him, he remains a huge threat throughout the battle. The fight also gives Tanjiro and Giyu some of their biggest challenges yet.

Doma technically holds a higher Upper Rank position, but Akaza feels like the stronger fighter based on what the first movie actually shows. His battle against Giyu and Tanjiro is simply the best combat display in the film, making him the clear number one.
