Top streaming platforms like Netflix and Prime Video are surely keeping things exciting this week with a fresh lineup of movies that caters to every mood imaginable. Whether you’re going through Monday blues or a frustrating Friday, make a little bit of time at the end of the day to watch these incredible titles.
They’re adding standalone movies, epic franchises, streaming originals, and more to the catalog. So, per everyone’s taste, we’ve curated a list of seven great movies you can watch between April 13 and 17. Now skip the scrolling and get to streaming!
1 Dust Bunny (2025)
Mads Mikkelsen and Bryan Fuller’s first collaboration after the acclaimed Hannibal series is Dust Bunny. A movie that’s quite the opposite of their crime-thriller show because it’s filled with fantasy, action, and emotional storytelling. I usually associate Fuller with stylish psychological horror, so it was refreshing to see him create something out of the box.
In Dust Bunny, follow Aurora, a lonely young girl who believes that a monster under her bed has eaten her family, so she hires her neighbor, who’s an assassin played by Mikkelsen, to help her. If you’d like to watch something creepy yet heartfelt this week, and don’t mind a genre mashup, then tune in to watch Dust Bunny.

So Zak goes on a quest for vengeance when the justice system doesn’t favor him, while others around him stop him from getting pulled back into a violent world. For the ones who enjoy thrillers and stories that feature moral dilemmas, add 180 to your watchlist right away! I personally can’t wait to watch this one because of how intriguing it looks from the trailers and teasers alone.

3 The Hunger Games (2012)
Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games | Credits: Lionsgate / Color Force The Hunger Games is a defining blockbuster of the 2010s and one of the best post-apocalyptic movies. Jennifer Lawrence plays Katniss, who takes her sister’s place in a televised survival contest known as the Hunger Games, where she will have to survive in a deadly arena, and it all depends on her strategy, alliances, and resilience!
If you haven’t watched this dystopian adventure yet, it’s high time that you do, because Hulu has dropped the whole saga for viewers who want to enjoy the renowned franchise. Even after all these years, I still find myself revisiting The Hunger Games because I haven’t found a story that touches upon dystopian themes at such a grand scale!
