In this day and age, Crunchyroll has become one of the biggest anime streaming hubs in the global market. With thousands of titles to choose from – both old and new – it’s very easy to get confused about what to watch, especially on weekends when you want to relax and dive into a new series.
Why fear when we’re here! Similar to last week, we have brought a selection of titles for you to pick from for this weekend (April 18-19). From romantic comedy to action fantasy, here are this week’s suggestions for anime titles to binge on Crunchyroll.
1 The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten
A still from The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten | Credits: Project No.9The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is one of the most underrated romantic comedy and slice-of-life anime series from 2023. If you are a fan of anime epic romantic titles like Blue Box or The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity, you’ll surely like this title. What’s more, if you are already a fan of the series, Season 2 was recently released on April 3, 2026, on Crunchyroll.
The anime follows the story of Amane Fujimiya, a lonely and stoic high school boy, and Mahiru Shiina, the most beautiful girl in school. Both MCs are next-door neighbours in the same apartment, unaware of it initially. A rainy day and an umbrella are where their romantic journey begins. With a rich plotline and amazing characters, you should definitely watch this anime on this weekend.
2 Wistoria: Wand and Sword
Coming in at number two, we have a series that many hardcore anime fans are familiar with – Wistoria: Wand and Sword. This is the perfect time to catch up with the series between the weekly episodes of the ongoing Season 2, released on April 12, 2026, on Crunchyroll. A strong mix of adventure and supernatural – the Wistoria anime series is the perfect concoction if you like those genres.
Based on the Japanese manga series written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Toshi Aoi, the timeline begins hundreds of years ago, when invaders from the sky ravaged the land and almost destroyed the world. To repel the invaders, five mages, who came to be known as the “Magia Vander”, joined and cast a powerful barrier to ward off the invaders. Aside from its exciting animation, the series has an interesting plotline to keep you glued to your seat.
3 The Drops of God

The spring 2026 anime, The Drops of God, is all about wines and tasting them, to a whole different level. Released on April 10, 2026, the anime follows the story of Shizuku Kanzaki, the son of a world-renowned wine critic, Yutaka Kanzaki.
After his father’s death, Shizuku returns home to inherit his assets. However, according to the will, he must correctly identify and describe thirteen wines, the first twelve known as the “Twelve Apostles” and the thirteenth known as the “Drops of God”, while competing against Issei Tomine, his father’s adopted son.
4 Ghost Concert: Missing Songs

Unlike many new anime series, Studio ENGI’s new spring 2026 anime is adapted from the Japanese music-themed mixed-media project featuring “song battles” created by Noriyasu Agematsu, Elements Garden, and Aria Entertainment.
The sci-fi music-action anime series is set in 2045, where humans are banned from singing, and AI manages music using an app called “MiucS”. Seria Aiba, a teen who can see spirits, hears a forbidden human voice in an alley and finds a “Great Ghost” named Cleopatra. She is then dragged into a world of psychic mediums (TERA) and competes in a “song battle” against other spirits.
5 Mistress Kanan Is Devilishly Easy

The new supernatural rom-com anime was released on April 4, 2026, and is currently 2 episodes deep into the story.
Kanan Takakiyo, the chair of the discipline committee at Tama Municipal Votive Academy, is actually a demon who came to devour human souls. However, while trying to prey on a junior student, Yoji Kyogi, who falls in love with her, the two end up going out together.
