10 OP Bleach Bankai That Would’ve Been the Most Broken Summons in Naruto

The Naruto anime and manga series is already a complex network of powerscaling devices, but rarely can they be called overpowered or broken like the Bankai from the Bleach series. This brings us to one of our most intriguing crossover ideas – making Bankai a Summoning Jutsu in the Naruto verse.

Bankai are absolutely broken to the point where a single one of them, even what can be considered a lower-tier one, can absolutely destroy an elite group of Shinobi from Naruto. With that being said, here are some of the most overpowered ones from Tite Kubo’s series that we feel would become broken summons in Masashi Kishimoto’s magnum opus.

1 Zanka no Tachi – The Undead Legion No Shinobi Could Escape

Genryusai Yamamoto‘s Zanka no Tachi, South: Kaka Jumanokushi Daisojin would be horrifying as a Naruto summon. Instead of creating ordinary flames, this Bankai calls forth the charred remains of those Yamamoto has slain, forcing them to fight under his command.

It isn’t Edo Tensei, but the psychological impact would feel just as devastating. Watching fallen warriors rise again would crush morale before the battle even began. Against large shinobi armies, few summons could create the same overwhelming pressure and fear.

2 Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame – A Divine Surgeon on the Battlefield

Kisuke Urahara’s Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame, one of the best Bankai to have IRL, manifests as a gigantic feminine figure capable of restructuring anything within its range. It can reconstruct damaged tissue, repair severe injuries, modify objects, and even restructure an opponent’s body after making contact.

In Naruto, where elite medical ninja are incredibly valuable, this summon would completely redefine battlefield support. It could save allies from otherwise fatal injuries while simultaneously turning enemy advantages into weaknesses. Few summons would offer such incredible versatility in both offense and defense.

3 Shirafude Ichimonji – The Brush That Rewrites Reality Itself

If Ichibe Hyosube‘s Shirafude Ichimonji became a summon, it would instantly rank among the most terrifying ever seen. After removing an opponent’s name, the massive white brush paints a new one onto them, changing the very nature of their existence to match that name.

A powerful shinobi could suddenly become as insignificant as the word written upon them. Naruto has powerful sealing techniques, but almost nothing alters identity itself. That alone makes this summon unbelievably broken. It’s worth noting that Shirafude Ichimonji is a Shin’uchi, as Ichibe calls it. It was achieved long before the term Bankai was coined or invented.

4 Daiguren Hyorinmaru – The Ice Dragon That Stops Entire Armies

Toshiro Hitsugaya‘s completed Daiguren Hyorinmaru would fit naturally beside Naruto‘s legendary summons while eclipsing most of them. Once fully matured, it commands immense ice on a battlefield-wide scale and can even freeze abilities or phenomena after making contact.

Entire platoons could become trapped before finishing a single jutsu. Combined with its dragon-like appearance and overwhelming environmental control, this summon could reshape battlefields in minutes, forcing enemies to fight entirely on its terms from beginning to end.

5 Sakashima Yokoshima Happofusagari – The Ultimate Ally-Turning Summon

Shinji Hirako’s Sakashima Yokoshima Happofusagari is almost unfair when imagined as a summon in Naruto. Unlike his Shikai, this Bankai affects groups rather than individuals, causing everyone within its range to perceive allies as enemies and enemies as allies.

The Gotei 13 captain Sajin Komamura‘s Kokujo Tengen Myo’o is essentially a towering armored guardian already worthy of being called a summon. Every movement mirrors Komamura’s own, allowing the giant warrior to unleash devastating sword strikes capable of leveling fortifications.

Naruto certainly has enormous summons, but few combine sheer size with such precise humanoid combat. On an open battlefield, this guardian could overwhelm enemy forces through raw strength alone. Even giant summons would struggle against its immense reach and destructive power.

8 Katen Kyokotsu: Karamatsu Shinju – A Tragic Play Nobody Escapes

Shunsui Kyoraku‘s Katen Kyokotsu: Karamatsu Shinju doesn’t rely on overwhelming force. Instead, everyone caught within its range becomes part of a deadly four-act performance. As a summon in Naruto, it would ignore conventional battle tactics entirely. Surviving would mean escaping the performance itself rather than defeating the summon through strength. It’s one of the deadliest ones on this list in our opinion, similar to a Tsukuyomi technique.

9 Senbonzakura Kageyoshi – The Endless Blade Storm That Never Ends

Byakuya Kuchiki‘s Senbonzakura Kageyoshi transforms countless blades into shimmering petals under his complete control. As a summon, it would function like an entire army attacking from every direction at once.

The sheer volume of blades makes defending nearly impossible, while their speed allows them to surround opponents almost instantly. Whether protecting allies or overwhelming a single powerful shinobi, the summon would dominate nearly every battlefield. Few Naruto characters could continuously withstand such relentless pressure without eventually being overwhelmed.

10 Hakka no Togame – Absolute Zero Given the Form of a Summon

Rukia Kuchiki‘s Hakka no Togame unleashes temperatures at absolute zero, instantly freezing everything around her. Normally, Rukia must carefully stabilize her own body after activating the Bankai because of its extreme cold.

Reimagining it as an independent summon removes that drawback almost entirely. The result would be a battlefield entity capable of turning entire landscapes into frozen wastelands within moments. Against shinobi who depend on mobility and hand signs, few summons would end battles faster or more decisively.
