Wuthering Waves Version 3.3 is one of the biggest and most anticipated updates right now. Not only will Kuro Games celebrate the second anniversary of its game, but we’ll also be getting two new characters that players are already saving for.
One of these upcoming characters is Denia, a 5-star Fusion Rectifier user who we’re expecting to release in Phase 2. As with most 5-star Resonators, you’ll want to use Denia to her full potential. But to do that, you’ll need to put in a lot of time and resources. That’s why pre-farming is essential if you plan to use her immediately after pulling.

In this guide, we’ll go over all the materials you need to fully level Denia to 90, max her Forte skills, and upgrade her signature weapon, Forged Dwarf Star. We’ll also explain where to find these materials so you can start preparing ahead of time and avoid the usual post-banner grind.

If you’re planning to fully build Denia from Level 0 to 90 and max out all her Forte nodes, you’ll need a wide variety of materials. You can get these materials from enemy drops, overworld collectibles, weekly bosses, and Forgery Challenges.

How to Farm Denia’s Ascension Materials
Burning Judgment
This is a boss drop obtained by defeating the Reactor Husk, located in Fangspire Chasm, Roya Frostlands. Since you’ll need 46 of these, it’s a lot of waveplates to spend. So make sure to start early and use your Waveplates efficiently.
Moss Amber
A regional material found in Lahai-Roi. You can gather it in the open world or purchase a limited amount weekly from N.A.N.A. at Startorch Academy (Square). Since the shop only sells a capped number per week, consistent collection is key.
Mech Cores (LF, MF, HF, FF)
These are standard enemy drops. You can track them through the in-game Guidebook, which helps locate enemies that drop Mech Cores. Farming these regularly will prevent bottlenecks later.
Denia Forte and Signature Weapon Materials
You can farm a lot of the materials right now. | Image Credit: Kuro GamesAscending Denia is only one step of the process. Most of Denia’s damage and utility will come from her Forte upgrades. On top of that, if you’re planning to pull her signature weapon, you’ll need an entirely separate set of materials.
Forte Materials (Skill Upgrades)
To max all of Denia’s abilities—including Normal Attack, Resonance Skill, Liberation, and Forte Circuit—you’ll need:
- LF Mech Core x25
- MF Mech Core x28
- HF Mech Core x40
- FF Mech Core x57
- We Who Question x26
- Spliced String x25
- Broken String x28
- Solidified String x55
- Melodic String x67
- Shell Credits x2,030,000
How to Farm Denia’s Forte Materials
String Materials (Spliced → Melodic)
These are obtained from Forgery Challenges, which are accessible via the Guidebook. These challenges rotate rewards, so make sure you’re farming the correct one depending on the day.
We Who Question
This is a weekly boss material that will be added in Version 3.3. Since it’s time-gated, you’ll want to prioritize it every week after unlocking the boss to avoid delays in maxing Denia’s talents.
Forte Upgrade Scaling
As you level Denia’s skills, the material requirements ramp up significantly. Early levels require basic materials like Spliced String and LF Mech Core, but higher levels introduce:
- Melodic Strings (high-tier drops)
- FF Mech Cores (rarer enemy drops)
- We Who Question (weekly boss)
Signature Weapon: Forged Dwarf Star Materials
If you’re aiming to fully optimize Denia, her signature weapon is a major boost. To level Forged Dwarf Star from 0 to 90, you’ll need:
- LF Exoswarm Core x6
- MF Exoswarm Core x6
- HF Exoswarm Core x10
- FF Exoswarm Core x12
- Spliced String x6
- Broken String x8
- Solidified String x6
- Melodic String x20
- Shell Credits x330,000
Farming Exoswarm Cores
Exoswarm Cores are enemy drops similar to Mech Cores but come from a different enemy group. Use the Guidebook tracking feature to locate them efficiently and farm in clusters to save time.
Pre-Farming Tips for Denia in Wuthering Waves Version 3.3)
Pre-farming efficiently isn’t just about knowing which materials you need. You also need to manage your time and Waveplates wisely. Here are some practical tips to make your grind smoother:
1. Prioritize Weekly Boss Materials Early
Since We Who Question is time-gated, it should be your top priority once available. Missing even one week can delay your build significantly.
2. Farm Forgery Challenges Ahead To Save Waveplates
Since Denia’s world boss hasn’t come out yet, you can focus on prefarming the String materials for her Forte first and complete it before she comes out.
3. Stockpile Shell Credits
With over 3 million credits required, you’ll likely run out if you’re upgrading multiple characters. Consider dedicating some days purely to credit farming.
4. Use the Guidebook Tracking System
Tracking Mech Cores and Exoswarm enemies directly through the Guidebook saves a lot of time and ensures you’re always farming efficiently.
5. Don’t Ignore Vendor Limits
Buying Moss Amber weekly from N.A.N.A. might seem minor, but it adds up over time and reduces your overworld grind.
Denia is one of the most anticipated characters in Wuthering Waves 3.3, and preparing her materials in advance will give you a huge advantage on day one. While most of her important materials are gated to content from Version 3.3 itself, you can prefarm the Mech Cores and String materials right now.
Just make sure to focus on the new materials once they become available. Will you be pulling Denia or Hiyuki in Wuthering Waves 3.3? Let us know in the comments!
