Alphonso Davies is on the bench for Canada's second home World Cup fixture against Qatar.

Co-hosts Canada face 2018 hosts Qatar in Group B at the 2026 World Cup. Both national teams are yet to test a victory at this stage, but they came from behind to avoid defeats to Bosnia & Herzegovina and Switzerland, respectively, on matchday one.
