Emergency crews responded to the collision on the 100-block of McArthur Avenue at 5:40 p.m., where a vehicle struck the front of a business, injuring two men inside.

A 30-year-old man was critically injured and died while being transported to hospital, police said, while a 32-year-old man was also taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

On Tuesday evening, a red SUV rested in the westbound lane of McArthur, stationed perpendicular to the two-storey building with main-level signage for a barber shop.

The 57-year-old woman was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
