Why fans think Joy Taylor accusations 'make sense now': Videos with Emmanuel Acho involved

Fans claim the allegations against Joy Taylor with Emmanuel Acho 'makes sense' based on resurfaced videos, as the pair's alleged relationship is laid bare before the world in a bombshell lawsuit against FOX Sports; accusing their staff of bullying, sexual misconduct and using sex to gain promotions.

The claims were filed in Los Angeles on Friday, January 3 and come from Taylor's stylist, who says she struck up relationships with Charlie Dixon (Fox executive vice-president) and Acho in order to be hired to the network and to move up the ranks.

Noushin Faraji also claims the 37-year-old planned to accuse Dixon of sexual assault when she didn't need him anymore, should he discover her relationship with the linebacker and plan to fire her. Faraji also accuses Dixon of slapping her buttocks and says Skip Bayless offered her $1.5m for sex.

The 42-page document has rocked the industry and social media has gone ablaze with chatter as Fox Corporation, who are also named in the lawsuit, say they are aware of the allegations and will be making no more comment at the time. Bayless, Taylor and Acho are yet to comment too.

Fans now believe a clip of the ex-NFL star talking about the broadcaster 'makes sense' in the light of their claimed sexual relationship, as Acho laid the praise on the Barry University graduate around the time of the 2023 Super Bowl.

"Truly, in the sports industry, I don't know anyone that is more impressive," Acho said, introducing Taylor on Speak, which they co-hosted together. "In every way, shape or form - than the one and only Joy Taylor, ladies and gentleman."

Fans rushed to the comments to react to the video, which is still on Acho's X.com account, as they believe the comments now make sense in light of the accusations they were hooking up.

A fan said, "Didn't age well."

A second commented, "My boy was not talking about her skill on the show at all."

And a third wrote, "No we know Emmanuel."

Acho deletes video

The allegations are hard to ignore, even if there hasn't been much in the way of public comments from those involved so far.

Acho, however, did recognize the chatter by deleting a video in which he hyped Taylor up for being a success as a black woman in what he said is a misogynistic and sexist industry,

"I have to take a moment to shout out my co-host Joy Taylor," Acho says in the clip. "A woman. A black woman. Daily show. Sports.

"Do you all realize how hard it is to get into the position she's in? So often there is misogyny and sexism running rampant in sports and we don't even care what women have to say in sports.

"But Joy is not only in the position on television as a black woman, but as an opinion-ist. So not just asking men what they think but providing her own unique and distinct insight. It's hard to do and Joy you have done it so congratulations, looking forward to working with you."

So far, nobody has been found guilty of anything and thus they are all innocent in the eyes of the law until proven otherwise.
