Why Angelina Pivarnick won’t watch new ‘Jersey Shore’ season as domestic violence drama with ex will air

Angelina Pivarnick won’t be tuning in to the upcoming season of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” because she doesn’t want to relive all of her recent personal drama — which has made it onto the show.

The reality star exclusively confirmed to Page Six at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in UBS Stadium Wednesday night that fans will see issues she’s had with on-again, off-again fiancée Vinny Tortorella.

“I’m not going to watch it because I just don’t think I can do it,” Pivarnick, 38, admitted.

The MTV star said she’s noticed that others in the reality TV world often don’t watch their own shows to not let the rehashed drama affect them — particularly when they’re in the hot seat during a season.

However, Pivarnick said she feels it’s “every season with [her] with drama” so she never truly gets a chance to sit back and enjoy the show.

The “Jersey Shore” alum said she will continue to actively post about Season 7 on X, as the fans “mean the most to her.”

Pivarnick also said she doesn’t regret being so open on the long-running MTV series because she’s “authentic for the fans.”

“Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” returns to MTV on Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. ET.

As the show will be airing, Pivarnick is still embroiled in legal issues stemming from an incident in June.

Police issued the reality star a summons at the time for simple assault, criminal mischief, obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest. We were previously told Tortorella was present for the ordeal.

The exact details of the case were not released, with officers citing at the time “legal exemptions” for cases surrounding domestic violence.

However, Pivarnick’s attorney, James Leonard Jr., dismissed what occurred as a very “minor incident” that was “exacerbated by an adverse reaction to prescribed over-the-counter medication.”

Pivarnick has since pleaded not guilty at a July 23 court hearing.

The latest incident was not the first time the “Um Hello?” podcaster has had a domestic dispute with her ex that has ultimately leaked to the public.

In August 2023, Page Six exclusively reported that Pivarnick called the cops on Tortorella after an alleged altercation, but then she declined to press charges once police actually arrived.

The former couple got engaged in early 2023 after less than a year of dating, and the proposal took place on day after Pivarnick celebrated the finalization of her split from her first husband, Chris Larangeira.
