This comes in the wake of the unfortunate events that she became a victim of while recently performing at a nightclub in Miami. Apparently, the Columbian singer-cum-songwriter was shot leaving the stage abruptly mid-performance, leaving fans confused until the real disappointing reason behind her actions came out: Someone was reportedly trying to film up her dress.

Shakira Left the Stage After Becoming a Victim of Disrespect

Pop singer Shakira was just trying to enjoy a good night out with her friends while taking to the stage to perform for her fans at a nightclub in Miami before she was met with disrespect intolerable enough to have her leave the stage abruptly. Apparently, someone in the crowd was trying to film her under her short dress, the helm of which reached just slightly below her hips.

In a clip shared by FeimLive on YouTube, the Whenever, Wherever singer was seen taking the stage to dance to her upcoming single, Soltera. But while she was initially enjoying herself, within 40 seconds into the video, she was seen turning around and tugging at her dress while holding a shocked reaction as she wagged her finger at someone in the crowd.

Subsequently, the Grammy winner then went on to point at her eyes, apparently signaling that she was aware of what was going on, before continuing her dance performance.

But after a few more seconds of her moving to the rhythm, she once again held that disappointed reaction before gripping the hem of her dress and signaling that she was done.

Following this, she simply walked over to the edge of the narrow stage before jumping down onto the VIP area where Winnie Harlow, Anitta, Lele Pons, and Danna were all standing, enjoying her performance. Needless to say, the singer must have felt disrespected having seemingly not been heard despite already giving a warning to the other person to not repeat their actions.

Further digging into this matter has revealed with Page Six reporting that the club, apparently, claimed that “it was actually [the singer’s] photo and video team that she was trying to get to stop filming her while she was enjoying the moment with the crowd and fans.” But while that’s that, official confirmation of this statement from the singer’s team and reps is yet to be received.

Nonetheless, this unfortunate turn of events has anything but sat well with the fans of the Can’t Remember to Forget You singer. To say the least, assuming it was someone from the crowd trying to film up her dress as she danced, not only are fans truly disgusted by this inappropriate behavior but are even condemning everyone who is flagging this as a mistake on Shakira’s hands.
