Vancouver police are investigating two serious incidents in downtown Vancouver on Wednesday.

The incidents occurred between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. within a block of each other at West Georgia and Hamilton streets and near West Georgia and Homer streets, said the Vancouver Police Department in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

At this time, investigators are not sure if the incidents are connected.

Police have boosted patrols in the area. No arrests have been made.
