As of Saturday afternoon 20 WestJet flights at YVR were affected, said an airport spokesperson.

“Flight impacts may change throughout the day. Passengers are strongly advised to check latest flight information with WestJet before coming to the airport,” YVR said.

All other flights at YVR are operating as scheduled.

CUPE 8125, the union representing more than 4,000 flight attendants, issued a 72-hour strike notice on Thursday, which means labour action could begin shortly after 11 a.m.
