During 2019’s Con of Thrones event, Jerome Flynn told fans that he actually shared a scene with Lena Headey and advised them not to believe what they read and see on the Internet. “Like I said, [the media] can get pretty desperate for stories,” he remarked. He also expressed admiration for his costar and thought of her as a wonderful person and actress.

The rumor started and spread like wildfire because of an article published by The Sun, with a source claiming:

Lena and Jerome have not filmed together due to a bad breakup. They kept the full extent of it secret, but it was a very turbulent relationship, and it has been very awkward on set.

The insider was also certain that Headey opened up about it to her friends, and she reportedly expressed “genuine hate” for Flynn. Apparently, they had been linked in 2002 after getting spotted together but never confirmed any romance. It was Headey’s aunt who revealed they were indeed an item.

A year later, Flynn debunked the rumors and confessed they weren’t a couple at the time and that people just immediately jumped to baseless conclusions. The outlet reported that Headey allegedly ended her relationship with the actor in 2014. Interestingly, Flynn’s spokesperson denied anything in his contract that mentioned keeping him and Headey apart on set.

Bronn is a low-born sellsword, and most of his screen time is shared with Jamie Lannister, while Cersei Lannister is a queen who spends her time in the Red Keep in King’s Landing.

There isn’t any need for them to mingle, perhaps except that they share a mutual connection in the form of Cersei’s brother. Nonetheless, the story didn’t really require their characters to meet.
