Turns out Soldier Boy and a select other supes from The Boys are immune to the virus due to a different iteration of Compound V in their blood: V-One. In the effort to figure out where V-One was accessible, the Boys form a temporary alliance with Stan Edgar.

All hell breaks loose when Homelander sets a group of supes, including The Deep and Black Noir, onto them. What to Expect From The Boys Season 5 Episode 4?

The Boys Season 5 Episode 3 appeared to have set another heist mission. This time in a medical department named Fort Harmony. Episode 4 will likely take place inside this abandoned military facility that is known for Compound V-One testing. The repercussions of Homelander’s new “enlightened” state will set him on a messianic path of destruction.

Stan Edgar is now in Homelander’s hands, following his forced exit from Vought in Season 3 of The Boys. Edgar is playing his own game, wanting to climb his way to the top of Vought after he was disgraced by Victoria Neuman. Will he manipulate Homelander, or will Sister Sage find her way to deal with him?

Ryan and Butcher are now semi-reunited after a failed attempt to repair relations. Again. Butcher can never catch a break with his kid, and that’s entirely his fault. Seeing the bloody mess that Homelander left him in, Butcher will likely take care of Ryan’s recovery in a make-or-break episode for their relationship.

Annie and the Boys have had to make tough decisions surrounding the murder of supes and the handling of Butcher. The end of Episode 3 saw her flying off in a moment of shock, thinking Hughie could’ve been killed in battle.
