Teen dies of injuries from UTV crash

Police in Ottawa say the 16-year-old who was seriously injured in a utility task vehicle crash in Constance Bay has died.

Police said a utility task vehicle, or UTV, was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Baillie Avenue at about 11 p.m. on Sept. 1.

Police investigators would like to speak to anyone with doorbell, dash camera or video surveillance footage of the UTV driving around Constance Bay between 10 and 11:15 pm that day.

Anyone who has not already spoken to police can contact the Fatal Collisions Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
