Many Survivor contestants do not have many things nice to say about its host Jeff Probst, given the extreme rules that he imposed. While several contestants, who initially developed a romantic bond, found it difficult to continue following the extreme stressful and dire nature of the reality show, this isn’t to say that every relationship in the show was doomed.

Some of them, who crossed paths during their tenure on Survivor, continue to lead happy lives together after their stay on the Jeff Probst-led show.

Rupert and Laura Boneham

After back-to-back appearances in season 7 and season 8 All-Stars, Rupert Boneham’s popularity once again pushed the network to invite him for season 20, and for this one, he brought his wife, Laura Boneham, alongside him. Not only their marriage survive the hardships of the show, the latter said, “Survivor empowered the sh*t out of me!”, who considered herself ready for any challenges.

Sierra Thomas and Joe Anglim

Despite being fierce competitors in season 30 of the reality show, Sierra Thomas and Joe Anglim maintained contact after their stay on Survivor ended. Although the two marked their return, with Anglim coming back in season 38 and Thomas in season 34, three years after their original run in the show ended, the two started dating and eventually walked the aisle in 2019.

Jon Misch and Jaclyn Schultz

Unlike the previous couple, Jon Misch and Jaclyn Schultz already had a pre-existing history when they entered season 29. Although the cold-hearted nature of the show put them through overwhelming hardships, the two stood strong, and a year later, Misch and Schultz officially tied the knot, and in 2022, the duo welcomed their son, Logan Samuel.

Jeremy and Val Collins

Entering season 29 as a husband and wife duo, Jeremy and Val Collins were aware of the challenges that stood in their way, and the former felt that playing with his significant other would “be stressful and emotional”. While the two were booted off, Jeremy Collins marked his return in season 31 and won, and during his stay, he was hit with the news that his wife was expecting a third child.

Monica and Brad Culpepper

Having already appeared in one of the earlier seasons, this time around, Monica Culpepper brought her significant other, Brad Culpepper, whom she deemed her shield, alongside her. Culpepper, an ex-NFL player himself, did ameliorate her performance, as Monica Culpepper ended her run as a runner-up. As of now, the two maintain their strong bond and share three children.

Rob and Amber Mariano

When it comes to Survivor power couples, Rob and Amber Mariano are one of the most notable ones out there. Having already competed in previous seasons, the duo crossed paths in season 8, All-Stars, and the two have collectively been on seven seasons of the reality show. But in 2004’s live reunion show, the former proposed to Amber Mariano, and as of today, they share four daughters.
