Police are seeking witnesses to a Surrey park assault that has left one man with life-threatening injuries.

Around 12:38 a.m. on Sunday, Surrey RCMP were called to Kabbaddi Park at 120 Street and 70 Avenue.

On arrival, police found two victims who had been assaulted and both were taken to hospital. One of the victims, an 18-year-old boy was treated and later released, while a 22-year-old man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

“Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. on Sept. 8, 2024, to call police.”
