It’s one hell of a “Love Story.”
Page Six is told that Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are set to perform at what some insiders are calling Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s “Wedding-palooza” at Madison Square Garden. The bride’s first ever Billboard hit, when she was just 16 years, was called “Tim McGraw.”
Swift, who is renowned for giving fans “Easter egg” clues ahead of her album releases, dropped a major hint when she wore a shirt reading “Stevie Knicks” to Game 4 of the NBA Finals on June 10 at MSG.
Swift and Kelce’s nuptials will be “bigger than the Met Gala,” a source said, with an enormous guest list of stars.
This week, City Hall confirmed there is a permit at MSG for a Friday bash for more than 1,000 people, as an industry source told us guests had been invited by text and email.
“I’ve heard Taylor invited so many people it’s going to be bigger than the Met Gala,” the industry insider said.
Page Six also confirmed there is a permit for a more intimate event for 100 people on Thursday — with a source saying it’s a rehearsal dinner.
In Nashville, where Swift moved when she was just 14 to launch her music career, everyone is abuzz about the celebrations.
Tennesseeans Kenny Chesney and Kesha have both canceled tour dates around the wedding and rumors are rampant that it’s so they can attend, along with Dierks Bentley and members of Little Big Town and Sugarland.
“Kelsea Ballerini is definitely going,” said one music source.
Nashville sources have heard “there’s going to be multiple performances” at the Friday event at MSG — with rumors that Paul McCartney, who famously performed with Swift on stage at the “Saturday Night Live” 40th anniversary celebrations back in 2015, will perform. However, the former Beatle is currently in the UK, we’re told.
But his fashion designer daughter, Stella McCartney, is one of Swift’s friends and believed to be invited — and may have a hand in designing one of the bride’s looks. Indeed, Swift was recently seen wearing an outfit by McCartney in wedding white.
While Vogue undoubtedly came calling about featuring Swift and her gown, we’re told that she won’t be posing for the fashion bible.
Invited guests include Swift’s high school BFF Abigail Anderson, who is set to be Maid of Honor; Este, Danielle and Alana Haim; Zoe Kravitz (whose fiancé, Harry Styles, a Swift ex, is on tour); Ed Sheeran; Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley; Mariska Hargitay; and Cara Delevingne. Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid and boyfriend Bradley Cooper, and Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco.
As Page Six previously reported, Blake Lively is not on the guest list after she and onetime BFF Swift fell out amid the actress’s court battle with Justin Baldoni.
Kelce, meanwhile, has his Kansas City Chiefs teammates and staff, including Patrick Mahomes, George Kittle and coach Andy Reid. San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk and his fashion designer wife, Kristin, are on the list.
The industry source said various “SNL” cast members are invited; Swift has performed as a musical guest on the show five times, hosted once, and made several cameos, while her fiancé has hosted once and made a cameo.
Emma Stone — who Swift’s song “When Emma Falls in Love” is said to be about — is expected along with her husband, “SNL” writer Dave McCary.
While Kelce and Swift are set to throw a party to end all parties, those in Swift’s orbit have questioned whether they will tie the knot ahead of Friday.
Even some who know Swift say the couple’s choice of venue surprised them.
“Something this big and lavish is somewhat antithetical to what those closest to her would have imagined for her wedding,” a source in the singer’s orbit told Page Six. “And that’s why many feel the MSG event will be a celebration of marriage that will have already occurred.”
Many in Swift’s crowd had long believed the nuptials would take place before July 3rd. “I think it’s possible it’s already happened,” said the source.
Security insiders at Manhattan’s’ City Clerk’s Office — where you have to obtain a $35 wedding license to get married in New York State — insisted this week there had been no sign of a Swift license within recent days, adding, “we would know.”
A New York State marriage license is valid for 60 days, with a 24-hour waiting period before a ceremony can be legally performed — though it’s possible to get judicial waiver to bypass that.
City Hall confirmed to The Post that a permit application was filed with the Street Activity Permit Office for July 2 to July 4, with 33rd Street blocked off.
A source who has worked within MSG told Page Six that it’s easy to seal the venue and ensure that comings and goings are top secret.
“When you come down 33rd Street and turn left from the East, there is what looks like a garage. You then drive up a ramp which takes you right to stage level,” said the source.”Nobody will see a car coming in and who is being dropped of — it’s the ultimate in privacy.”
At stage level are dressing rooms that Swift could use for herself and her bridal party, the source said.
And rumors continue to fly that Swift has organized the ultimate Easter egg hunt — speculating that guests will be picked up at MSG Thursday and taken to another location for a ceremony, then brought back for a big party.
“I keep hearing the MSG rumors are all a fake out,” said one music insider.
Swift is well known to be firmly in charge of everything she does — from buying back her recording masters to embarking on history’s highest-grossing tour.
“I’ve learned not to ask questions. Taylor’s is in charge — I do as I’m told!” said one person who has worked closely with the “Love Story” star.
Swift showed she was the boss on her Disney docu-series, “The End of an Era,” which took fans behind the scenes of her last tour, which raked in $2.2 billion.
However, there were also moments that shed light on just how hard it is to live in the full glare of the spotlight.
In an illuminating scene, Swift told singer and good friend Ed Sheeran that she was planning to take off for two months after her London dates, adding, “I just don’t want to be tracked like an animal. I’ve felt very hunted lately.”
Everyone who could be involved with a wedding is staying tight-lipped, including Swift’s wedding planner, Mark Seed.
“We’ve not heard anything definite,” said Michael Wekselblatt, the President of IATSE Local One, the union representing stagehands, carpenters and technicians in the entertainment industry across NYC. “We have full jurisdiction [at MSG] …If something’s happening, we’re there.”
As San Francisco 49ers player George Kittle shared this week, “I actually asked Travis [about the MSG reports] last night and he laughed at me … ”
