A man is in hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing near Cabbagetown on Saturday night.

Toronto Police said on social media that they received reports of a male found with a stab wound around 9 p.m. at Dundas St. E. and Pembrooke St., one block west of Sherbourne St.
Police said the victim was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the scene and was wearing a black coat, grey sweats and black shoes, cops said.
No further information about the incident was provided by police.
