Through a post on its Twitter/X account, Netflix announced that the potential third season of Squid Game will be in 2025, where the doll Chul-su, the counterpart of Young-hee, is introduced and the return of the game 'Red Light, Green Light', iconic from the first season, is seen.
It seems that both characters will play an important role in the upcoming season of the television series, which according to Netflix's YouTube channel in South Korea is apparently going to be released on June 27.
Will Leonardo DiCaprio appear in Squid Game?
According to South Korean media, it is strongly rumored that the Hollywood actor and Oscar winner, Leonardo DiCaprio, would be joining the cast of Squid Game for the third season, all because he was seen during a gala with Lee Jung Jae, who plays Seong Gi-hun
However, it seems that DiCaprio's possible character will not be recurring, but would only be a small cameo as a nod, with his identity being kept totally secret for the moment.
