RB Leipzig have agreed a deal to sign Neil El Aynaoui on loan from AS Roma, according to Sky Germany.

The two clubs reportedly reached a verbal agreement on Saturday night, with Leipzig set to pay €4 million for the loan and given a €25 million option to buy.

Only the final details remain to be sorted out before El Aynaoui can undergo his medical ahead of the move.

The 25-year-old central midfielder was a regular starter for Morocco at the World Cup earlier this summer.

Roma signed him from RC Lens for a reported €23.5 million fee in the summer of 2025.
