Eveline Provost left a residence on Lebreton Street North at about 8:15 a.m. on Sept. 13, the Ottawa Police Service stated in a news release.

“She has only been in Ottawa for a short time and is unfamiliar with the city,” police said in the release.

Provost was described as 4-10 and 125 pounds, with a thin build. Police said she has two distinct freckles under her left eye, and speaks English and French, and possibly Punjabi.

She was last seen wearing the sweater shown in a photo provided by police and possibly black shoes.

Police said there are concerns for Provost’s well-being, adding that anyone who sees her should call 911 so police can make sure she receives immediate assistance.
